Privacy Policy
Recovery Select is a static publication with no user accounts and no advertising network. This page describes the small amount of data that does pass through it.

Who we are
Recovery Select. This policy covers the website at recoveryselectguide.com.
What we collect
This site is served as static files. There are no accounts, no logins, and no profile of you stored on our side. The specific places data is involved are these:
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and operational reasons. We do not use these logs to build a profile of individual readers.
Newsletter
The newsletter is not yet active. When it launches, this section will name the provider and describe exactly what is stored.
Analytics
We measure traffic in aggregate — which pages are read, how readers arrive, and which outbound links are followed. We do not use it to identify individual readers. The services involved:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement — which pages are read, how readers arrive, and which outbound links are followed. Sets cookies in your browser. Their privacy policy.
Affiliate links
When you follow an outbound link to a merchant, that merchant — and any affiliate network sitting between us — may set cookies or use other identifiers to attribute the referral. That happens on their site under their policies, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how the commercial relationship works, and the merchant's own privacy policy for what they collect.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not run an advertising network or behavioural ad targeting.
- We do not build reader profiles or track you across other sites.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Some browser storage may be used for functional preferences only. An analytics service listed above does set cookies; what it stores and for how long is described in its own policy. Third-party cookies can be set by merchants after you leave this site via an outbound link, as described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little — in most cases nothing beyond an email address you gave us voluntarily — these requests are usually simple to honour. Email [email protected] and we will respond.
If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not process sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics.
Data retention
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve the matter it concerns. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention schedule.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted rather than quietly edited in.
