Home saunas split into three broad families — traditional Finnish rooms heated by a stove, infrared cabins that warm the body directly, and hybrids that attempt both. The right choice depends far more on your electrical supply, your space, and the heat experience you actually want than on any single spec on a brochure.
The Atlas has no fixed size and no published breaker requirement, because it is built to a drawing you approve. What that means for your budget, your electrician and your timeline — and the one warranty exclusion worth knowing about first.
Sweaty Yeti delivers a completed outdoor building and sets it in your yard. No kit, no assembly contractor. What the eight models actually differ by, and the five specifications the company does not publish anywhere.
Nobody publishes a breaker size for a custom infrared sauna, because there is not one. What the circuit actually depends on, who pays for it, and why it has to be settled before you approve a design rather than after.
Traditional and infrared saunas deliver heat by different mechanisms, at different air temperatures, with different electrical requirements and very different depths of evidence behind them. Here is what separates them.
